The latest addition to Cheryl's family is Bucky (Beagle). Very little escapes his attention...and he's constantly looking for things to get into and chew on.
Grrrr...Get away from my bone! Annie's not too enthusiastic over this new addition. She thinks he needs to learn some good dog manners.
It's a couple of months later, and Bucky now weighs fifteen pounds. He recently had eye surgery and is recovering. The protective cone sure didn't slow him down much, even though it was an annoyance.
It's still great fun to tease Annie. Here he's demonstrating his beagle bay much like his ancestors may have used during a fox hunt.
His eye is doing well, and the cone is off...much to his relief. He's about to go home, but wants his bear blankie he loves to take with him. Sometimes he lays on his back with it between his paws...caressing it.
