Happy Birthday Katie, Marco and Apollo
(Sunday November 30, 2008)
We're at the Willow this evening to celebrate Katie, Marco and Apollo's birthdays, because they're all within a few days of each other. It's always fun to get together. You're listening to The Guitar Man. The song's lyric's about "something keeps him going...miles and miles away" makes me think of Marco's Ski-board competitions. It also makes me think about Katie and Marco composing a song they performed during the 2008 McLaughlin Charter School graduation ceremony.
We're waitin'....Bring on the food.
It not only looks good, it's very tasty. The cook knows her stuff.
Timmy didn't catch any fish today, so he ordered catfish.
Marco's mother Charlene and step father Eric, who is a specialized fireman. Charlene operates McLaughlin Charter School. They have lots of fun with their family, including their Labrador retrievers. Charlene wrote a wonderful prize winning story about one of the labs.
Silly Cheryl with Charlene and Eric.
The birthday girl with Grammy and Papa.
What's-his-name (our host) matches his smile...very nice.
Time to go home. It's been a wonderful birthday party with dear people.
