A Legacy In The Making

Thought I'd drop by to see what's been happening since my last visit. For starters, it looks like the planter at the entrance is about finished. But the whole project is a reminder that people who accomplish  difficult jobs hold on tight to their dream.

Also the beautiful cobble-stone drive at the entrance is completed.

....And the windows and doors installed.

The oak railings and trim inside are very nice.

More cleaning and polishing the floor is in the process.

Let's take a peek upstairs...

Looking good. This room is huge....

The door overlooking the shop is installed.

Let's go back downstairs.

Out back facing Hills Flat Lumber.

Everyone's worked very hard to create this beautiful place. The purpose of my doing this is to show how much effort goes into building a business. Not only the actual laborious works of many people, but the great financial risk taken, and perseverance by the owners to make it succeed. If their business succeeds, the community prospers and so do many people who work here.

January 2008

It looks like a bunch of new RV's moved onto the DeMartini parking lot. Looking over from the Hospital lab parking lot, the RV's are hardly noticeable compared to Hills Flat Lumber sheds on the ridge behind them. The only reason I mention this was because of those who were complaining during the planning period.

The sign is completed along with the turn lanes off Idaho Maryland road (below).

Let's go up and see what's happening at DeMartini RV...

The floor's beautifully polished. Can you imagine this is ordinary cement? Tim and Margie share an office downstairs. Timmy's is next to theirs. Vicky and Amanda share one upstairs.

And here's Margie already at work in her new office.

The stairs leading upstairs.

Conference room upstairs, and a couple of more downstairs.

Anna at work in her office she shares with Kathy (below).

Lloyd's looking forward to this. He's been driving RV's for DeMartini's many years, and this place has a lot more room to park and do whatever needs to be done.

The kitchen and a couple of delicious rum cakes from  the Pardini's next door.

The parts room is ready to be stocked.

Vicky's taking pictures to put on the DeMartini RV website. They just finished moving into the new facility.

February 21

This is an absolutely beautiful 45 foot long RV. It even has a built in laundry.

It's been purchased by the sweet-roll/donut king from San Francisco.

Rich moves it outside, and then (with Johns help) backs in another one the same length. It's fascinating to watch him  maneuver it into place.

Grand Opening and Rally April 14-20th!
