Mystery Lady Of The Sun

he lived well over 14,000 years ago during a time when the last mastodons slogged through marshy sandbars on the American Continent; a sophisticated country that ruled the pre-historic world. Her name was Meru, the mysterious mother of our civilization. Evidence shows the country of Meru occupied a former land area that included the Galapagos Islands, Easter Island the the western slope of the South American Andes. She was the ruler of a world theocracy called "The Empire of the Sun." Her priests (or sons of the Sun) delegated the affairs of the world from their citadel on the Andes Mountain and sailed across the sky in melodious airships. They were the passionate lords of religious legends who coveted, and sometimes demanded, the attentions of their fickle subjects. Unfortunately their jealousy got out of hand. Meru's history ended when she began quarreling with her twin Atlantis, who occupied the eastern plain of the island continent. The massive explosion that sent Meru to the bottom of the Pacific caused a tidal wave that drowned most of the pre-historic world.

Because of the heavy concentration of fossilized human works scattered throughout the western hemisphere, many geologists feel the American continent is the oldest on this planet. One of the most remarkable discoveries supporting this allegation was made by archeologist James S. Wilson in 1860. While zealous treasure hunters still continue to search the ocean for the fabled Atlantis, Wilson may have already found it buried beneath six feet of marine mud under the Ecuador forest of South America. Between Esmeraldas and Quito, he found fossil pottery, vessels, images and finely manufactured articles....many made of gold. The land had been civilized and then submerged long enough to accumulate the marine deposit, after which it rose to its former position above sea level and was reforested long before the Spanish arrived in the 16th century. The fascinating part of Wilson's discovery is that the layer containing the civilization is as old as the drift strata of Europe's old stone age, and identical with Guayaquil in which the bones of mastodons are found. Supporting this physical evidence of a pre-historic civilization are the legends of Jews, Hindus, Greeks and Egyptians.

The Greeks wrote about the early ages of the world in terms of gods and cataclysms, and  a universal mother who gave birth to the Titans (or divine kings) who formed the first race and were later honored as the gods who brought civilization. Hindu legends say Meru was the mountain-top city of the gods (or Bhahma-Puri) on an island strategically situated in the middle of the four hemispheres...southeast of India. Incidentally, all the prominent Hindu gods  (Indra, Puravas and Deva-Nahusha) were kings of Meru before they were immortalized. Some researchers claim that Deva-Nahusha was none other than Dionysos, the grandson of  Poseidon, the first king of Atlantis.

In his voluminous research on the origins of languages, nations and religion (Anacalypsis), Godfrey Higgins writes that the mysterious Mount Moriah of the Hebrew Abraham is actually Meru of the Hindu and Olympus to the Greeks. He describes the peculiar landscape of Meru as having several concentric rings within one another much like a target. Parts of these rings were still visible on Easter Island during the early part of the last century, which I'll describe later. He believed that the first governors of nations were priests...Melchizedeks, or priest kings.

Probably the most fascinating reference to our prehistoric nation comes from Louis Ginsbergs Legends of the Jews. They suggest that both Adam and Eve were priests, born at a place called Ahuzan that was situated at the center of the earth. The primeval couple allegedly migrated to the far-eastern biblical Paradise later on. Does the Old Testament reference to Adam's placement "eastward" imply he left the civilized west to colonize the vast wilderness of the east? Diodorus History (Vol. 1, p.50) relates that "The Egyptians themselves claimed that their ancestors were strangers who in very remote times settled on the bank of the Nile, bringing with themselves the civilization of their mother country, the art of writing and a polished language. They had come from the direction of the setting sun and that they were the most ancient of men." The priests told the Greek historian (Herodotus) that they had recorded 11,340 years of history, which means they were civilized over 14,000 years ago. It also explains why Egypt never went through the usual stages of cultural evolution.

Since the Egyptians pointed to the west as their origin, we must assume that the legendary "center of the earth," mentioned by the Hebrews, was located somewhere in the western hemisphere. Strangely enough, the center of the western hemisphere occurs sixty miles off the Ecuador coast where the ninetieth longitudinal line crosses the equator...not very far from where James Wilson discovered the submerged civilization.

Is it merely a coincidence? The Jewish legends say the sacred caves of Mount Moriah (Meru) were located at the center of the earth between the abyss and Paradise. If Paradise was in the east, it follows that the fiery abyss of so many sacred myths had to be in the west. Notice that the magnificent mountains bordering the Pacific shoreline of South America reach a lofty height of 20,000 feet in Peru and drop into an ocean abyss of equal depth. Even more puzzling are the fifty-five to sixty-five mile long tunnels that begin in the mountains near Otuzco and end abruptly eighty feet under the ocean. According to Erick von Daniken's Gold of the Gods, the Speleologists who explored them in 1971 felt that they may have led beneath land that no longer exists.

Supporting their hunch is a legend uncovered by W. J. Thomson during the early part of last century. He and an old native deciphered some Easter Island tablets that said the island was once part of a large continent that was covered with a meticulous stone highway system designed like a giant spider web, which explains the strange rings that comprised the geography of Meru. The legend also says that "In that happy land governed the gods from heaven, who lived in the waters when it was cold"...a condition that must have prevailed on the edge of the Ice Age when the last mastodons perished. This legend came from Colonel James Churchward's "The Lost Continent of Me, which appears to be a deep study of Meru (sometimes written Mru). Churchward estimates the island was 5,000 miles wide and 3,000 miles long giving us an idea of the tremendous highway system that visibly marked its position in the middle of the hemisphere. Curiosity led me to examine a few spider webs with the hope they might unravel some mystery. An ordinary garden spider web, with its concentric threads held together by a central walkway resembles the remains of paved roads found on Easter Island and Central America.

By now it must be evident that the South American Andes Mountain is the mystical Mount Meru, but where are the subterranean chambers concealing the sacred library and bombs of the ancient Patriarchs? George Williamson Hunt tells about an exciting discovery in his book "Road In the Sky." It begins with the dream of a Peruvian scientist named Pedro Astete, who saw himself standing in a great subterranean hall that was filled with scrolls and scripts beyond count. The atmosphere was hoary with age, but he felt he'd been there many times and wanted to know the name of this ancient place. He heard the words "Masma" three times. Astete died in Lima, Peru in 1940 without realizing his dream, but his friend Dr. Daniel Ruzo, a well known researcher of Peru, continued the search for the elusive "library of the Great Ones." In 1952 he discovered the Marcahuasi Plateau overlooking the hamlet of San Pedro de Casta between Santa Eulalia and the Rimac Valleys. Above is a huge monolithic head (depicting many races) that forms the entrance of a narrow pass that leads to the strange land of artificial lakes and giant stone statues of humans and animals.

At the left is the back side of the monolithic head. Two altars face east and west almost shouting "Here's the center of the earth!" On a little knoll near the gigantic altar (Cancaucho) facing the east is a priest-king sitting on a throne with his hands folded in prayer. Facing west, the other altar (Mayoralas) overlooks a deep abyss. One cannot help but wonder if this ancient place is the mysterious Ahuzan where (according to the Jewish Legends), Adam and Ever were born and later entombed according to priestly tradition. Scientists believe it may have been a sacred gathering place for many nations. But what about the secret library of Astete's dream? Dr. Ruzo didn't find Meru's subterranean archive, but an Argintine citizen named Juan Moricz may have stumbled onto it in 1965. He found a system of tunnels hundreds of miles long beneath Ecuador and Peru, and a room containing thousands of thin metal plaques engraved with signs and writing, which he believes will reveal the story of an unknown civilization. It's amazing that one of the amulets Moricz allegedly found in the tunnels shows a man standing on the middle of a globe (that looks like a spider web) holding the sun in one hand and the moon in the other....no doubt indicating Meru's position between the hemispheres. The location of Moricz's alleged metal library still remains a mystery to all those who have searched for it.

Don't you wonder if Meru's highway symbol, as well as many other large curious shaped mounds and ruins, was used as a landmark by ancient pilots? James Churchward's "Children of Mu" mentions the wonderful airships (or Vimanas) used by the ancients, that used magnetic energy enabling them to circle the earth continually until they were either turned off, or wore out. They were also used for war, and author Rene Noorbergens "Secrets of the Lost Races" vividly portrays the affects of the ship's weapon (Agneya). "...Meteors flashed from the sky. A thick gloom swiftly settled on the hosts. All points of the compass were lost in darkness. Fierce winds began to blow, clouds roared upward, showering dust and gravel..." Such a weapon must have destroyed Meru and at the same time caused a tidal wave. The ancient Greeks said the age of the Titans ended with war and a deluge. An Okanaguas Indian legend (of western Canada) adds this information. "Long ago...this strong medicine woman ruled over what now became a lost island...the peace of the island was destroyed by war...whereupon she drove her rebellious subjects to one end of the island and broke it off...then pushed it out to sea..." The panel carvings in an old Egyptian temple (above) appear to be various types of aircraft shown and discussed on other websites.

The reason for the war is revealed on the cuneiform tablets exhumed at Nineveh (Assyria) that were deciphered by George Smith. They were supposed to have been written around Abraham's time, and reads like a page from the daily news. Apparently the Lord Bel became enraged over the people who broke away from the old religious laws, so a council was held, during which time a few other lords joined Bel in his plan to put down the heretics. However, the tidal wave was an unexpected turn of events and almost destroyed the instigators on the mountaintop. Sixty-four million people went down with Meru alone...without taking into account the death toll of the rest of the world. The story of her final hours was found in an old Buddhist temple at Lhasa, Tibet by archeologist Heinrich Schleimann. "When the star of Bel fell on the place where now is only the sky and the sea, the seven cities with their golden gates and transparent temples, quivered and shook like the leaves in a storm....the land and its inhabitants were torn to pieces and swallowed up by the depths."

Churchward argued that this story was about the Pacific continent of Mu, and Schliemann insisted it described the sinking of Atlantis in the Atlantic. I think they were both right since these countries occupied the same island. The Greek philosopher Plato was the first to mention Atlantis, but another writer of the same period (named Theopompus) called it the land of Meropes...beyond the Atlantic Ocean, "where gold and silver are more plentiful than iron." He was obviously referring to Meru, that later became Peru after it was plundered and renamed by the gold hungry Spaniards. Looking back at when Francisco Pizarro arrived for the pre-arranged meeting with the young Inca king Atahualpa, it was Pizarro's chaplain, Friar Vicente de Valverde who spoke the first words to the monarch. He introduced himself and explained that the Spaniards came from a distant land to teach the true faith. He described the basic doctrines of Christianity, and the authority of the Pope over all the kings on earth....that the Pope commissioned the Spanish emperor to convert the people of the western hemisphere. In his book "Conquest of Peru," William Prescott mentions that the Peruvians came from all over to get a glimpse of Pizarro's men...whom they called "the children of the Sun." Was the rise of the Holy Roman Empire really a resurgence of the ancient "Empire of the Sun?" Consider the kingly Pope (or pappa) a son of God, who proclaims the Sabbath "Sun-day."

When we examine the etymology of the word "Atlantis" it becomes clear that both Plato and Theopompus were talking about the Andean people. "Atl" in the Nuatle language means "head of the waters...war," whereas, "Anti' is the Quechua word for "east" besides being the original name for the Andes Mountains. The name Atlantis probably meant that country occupied the eastern slope where the Amazon, Orinoca and Paraguay rivers begin their journey to the ocean, and that it was involved the the war already mentioned.

The mountain formed the trunk of the family tree (Upper Meru) supporting Meru on the left and Atlantis on the right. This unique geographic division shaped the royal scepter (or trident) of the kings of both nations. A huge 800 foot replica of it graces the parched mountain slope of Paracus, Peru. It's three limbs (with twelve tiny buds) resemble a candelabrum. If we added two more on each side it would match the seven candle ones in Jewish Synagogues. Is there a connection between the ancient Andean and Hebrew people?

Dr. Rudolf Falb, an expert on Arabic, says that the Quechua and Aimara language (of the Andes Indians) is very close to the Semite. So much in fact, that the common stems of all the variants are found in their purest condition in Quechua and Aimara, which convinced him that the present human race began on the high plains of Peru and Bolivia.

Although it's very difficult to reconcile the idea that an advanced culture capable of flight lived on the South American continent during an era when primitive half-naked men were supposed to be learning the bare rudiments of survival, Mr. Wilson's discovery of the submerged civilization and the ancient writings of many peoples combine to tell the story of a fantastic society that spread out over the entire earth. The irony of this tale is that the Adamites (or Andean people) crossed the ocean to Egypt where the mother Meru changed to mother Isis, and eventually Mary (whom Catholics call the mother of God) whose bearded sons (or Meropes) returned to reclaim the lost "empire" with their swords.

Many historians feel the people of earth were once united through a common language and religion during some remote age. The linguistic jungle of sounds and interpretation by many people over an abysmal span of time, combined with events and legends are transformed into a multi-colored swaddling of all the children of the earth, clutched against the breast of their mother Meru, the mysterious Lady of the Sun.
