Grass Valley Class of 1950 63yr Class Reunion

Today  the Grass Valley class of 1950, celebrated our 63rd class reunion at the historic Holbrooke Hotel in Grass Valley. George and Ramona couldn't have picked a more beautiful place, or day to enjoy precious memories over lunch.

George and Ramona share some thoughts and prizes for who came the farthest, donated bottles of wine, and arts and crafts made by them. At another reunion we received a cute desk pen set with a miniature gold laden ore car on a track that George made.

It was a wonderful reunion. Everyone seemed to be in a joyous mood and uplifted. Time to say goodbye until next time. So long Neil, Ken and Wes. It was great to see you all....and a very special thank you to Ramona and George (and whom ever) for all you do putting things together. Hope to see everybody in a couple of years, and that those who couldn't make it this time will be hail and hardy to join us at the next one. Take care....and enjoy yourselves.

Dave "Bub" Skeahan sent a couple of old photos (below) that go back to the beginning of our Grass Valley class. More discussion between Dave and George regarding the second grade picture reveals that it's actually the 3rd Grade with Hennessy in the background. Dave said he had a different teacher too for that one and thinks maybe it was when they were split up.
