Some Family Photos
(Narrated by Bruce)
This is me...as a male model in San Francisco for clothing, cars or
whatever...during 1961.
Me in 1951 sitting on stump of large tree we fell on
Lavvezola ranch.
Mom Christening ship at Western Pipe and Steel yards at South San
Francisco in 1943 commemorating the fact that she was the first woman
welder to enter the yards during WWII. This is picture of S.S. Sea Fiddler
she christened, and that's her breaking the bottle over the bow. "In
pursuing the policy of honoring Western Pipe's own employees on festive
occasions, we had the pleasure, on the morning of October 16, of calling
to the launching platform, as sponsor of Hull 122, our first lady welder,
Jean Mehrmann."
Irma when she was in grammar school in Nevada City.
Irma and me in 1956
on our way back from Germany on the USS General Hodges. She was feeling
rather ill from the motion.
This was looking over the parapets of a castle in San Marino,
Italy....And this is a picture of my grandmother in the 1920s.
Here's one of Irma after we got back from Germany.
The proud possessors of this 1950 Chevrolet sedan that we took a little
